Last year, Notre Dame obtained membership in the National Honor Society in Neuroscience, Nu Rho Psi. Nu Rho Psi membership provides recognition of verified academic excellence in the interdisciplinary field of Neuroscience. Students who become members of Nu Rho Psi are selected based on their superior scholarly accomplishments as well as their interest and experience in research. Nu Rho Psi membership is for life and it is often a springboard for networking and research collaboration.
Graduating seniors will be recognized in an induction ceremony, which will be held on Thursday, April 4th at 6:30pm-8:00pm in the Oak Room on the second floor in South Dining Hall. This event will be an open-house style event during which the students will receive their honors cords and certificates. Informal remarks will begin at approximately 6:45pm. A reception of light refreshments and hors-d'oeuvres will follow.
